KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES CONFIRMED TO SUPPORT FALL OUT BOY

20.1.2009

The guys are excited to be able to announce that they will be the main support on the forthcoming Fall Out Boy tour, which hits the UK on March 5th.

Currently in the studio working on the follow-up to their 2008 released album Smart Casual, the band will be taking a break from their writing duties to entertain crowds in Manchester, London, Cardiff and Brighton on the following dates:

March

Thu 5 Manchester MEN

Fri 6 London 02 Arena

Sat 7 Cardiff International Arena

Sun 8 Brighton The Brighton Centre

As Aled (vocals) says: ‘These shows are going to be some of the biggest we will have ever done, and to get to play the likes of the O2 arena (where I saw Prince!) with Fall Out Boy completely blows my mind - it’s the best news to kick off our 2009 with. We’re so excited and stoked that we’re planning stage attire and arena rock poses already. (That’s not actually a joke. We seriously are.) We’ve also been writing our new record since the end of last year so we intend to play a new song, which is pretty exciting. No better way to test out brand new material than in front of 41 thousand people’

Kids in Glass Houses have previously toured with the likes of Simple Plan, Lost Prophets, Paramore, and Funeral For A Friend among others. The band’s frenzied performances to overflowing, sweat drenched tents at some of last summer’s festivals including Download, Reading and T in The Park, along with their own two sold out UK headline tours, have proven them untiring experts at entertaining on a grand scale.
